First Home Mortgage Corporation is one of the largest independently owned, full service mortgage lenders in the country. Our company is Maryland based, founded in 1990 by our current CEO Dave Waters. We provide purchase loans and refinancing services to home buyers and homeowners in the Mid-Atlantic region, New England, and Florida.

In over 25 years, First Home has continued to grow by investing in our employees. Our management team thoroughly believes that in order for the mortgage industry to thrive, we have to help our employees become future leaders. We provide training for all of our new hires and offer continued guidance to help them succeed. Our environment is very open, allowing all of our employees to communicate easily with senior management to help improve the work environment and overall efficiency. In addition, First Home is constantly looking for ways to keep the workplace fun - from Orioles family nights, to corn hole tournaments, it's important that our employees feel they can take a break from the demands of work and simply enjoy themselves. Even though our branch locations continue to expand within and outside Maryland, we still feel First Home is a close knit family with camaraderie between all departments.
