Fareway Stores Inc. has been providing economical food distribution to our customers in the states of Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska and Minnesota since 1938, when Paul S. Beckwith along with Fred E. Vitt and Ralph I. Beckwith came to Boone, IA, to open the first store. Our mission is to provide exceptional customer service, top quality products, be the “best at fresh” in our produce, dairy and meat departments; all at affordable prices. At Fareway, we treat our customers like family and take pride in delighting them with remarkably clean stores and personalized “to your car” service. We believe that our dedicated employees are the reason for our success. We’re a family owned company and respect family values.
