Fairbanks Hospital, Inc.
Fairbanks provides treatment and recovery programs for adults and adolescents with alcohol and other drug problems. Individuals addicted to drugs and/or alcohol are recognized as having a chronic brain disease. Professional treatment and a recovery-focused life plan helps them return to active and productive lives. The Fairbanks care continuum includes assessment, detoxification, short and long-term inpatient and outpatient treatment, residential services and recovery management. Family programming is integrated into each program. For some, a transition back to work or home continues in supportive apartment style living or at LaVerna Lodge, a long-term residential treatment program for men. Fairbanks is the sponsor of Hope Academy, a public, tuition-free, charter high school for adolescents in recovery. Fairbanks served over 22,000 individuals last year including patients, family members, alumni and community members through treatment, education and volunteering.
