Extra Credit Union is known for its heart to serve by offering help, guidance, counsel, and programs for the entire community. We operate a full-service branch at our state-of-the-art headquarters in Warren, and a new Lending Center in Washington Township. As the only credit union in Southeast Michigan to offer a certified K-12 financial curriculum, we provide hands-on learning, financial fundamentals and customized services to help students make good financial decisions now and create a brighter financial future. We support our teachers with many different opportunities, as well. Our members help support these essential school programs through their membership. We honor our roots in the educational sector in Macomb County, which is why we’re known as “Extra Credit Union” {get it? “Extra Credit” and “Credit Union”? We’re pretty witty, right?}.
