Purpose
Evara Health exists to ensure that every person—regardless of income, insurance status, or background—has access to compassionate, high-quality healthcare. As a not-for-profit Federally Qualified Health Center serving Pinellas County, Florida, our purpose is rooted in equity and driven by our belief that healthcare is a human right. Our mission is to innovate beyond the barriers that limit access to care, whether financial, cultural, or social, and to be a lifelong partner in health for the communities we serve.
Founded on the vision of civil rights advocate Dr. Johnnie Ruth Clarke, Evara has evolved into a leading provider of integrated medical, dental, behavioral, and pediatric care through 18 sites and mobile units. We serve over 60,000 patients annually—most of whom are low-income, uninsured, or underinsured. No one is ever turned away for inability to pay.
