Entrada is a unique and great place to work! From the top down, culture is obsessed over. Each year, focusing on maintaining and growing our culture is a strategic goal for the company. This year, Entrada rolled out a new initiative: the Spot Reward program. This allows our employees to recognize each other for their contributions above and beyond the call of duty. Being only 3 weeks into the program, we have already received a significant amount of recognitions and will be rolling out an internal communications campaign to continue promoting the program.
In the spirit of upholding the company values of “embracing meritocracy” and “be transparent and truthful,” we have started celebrating wins with the entire company. When sales close a deal, regardless of size, the sales manager communicates that win with the entire company. When Implementations or Support get positive feedback from a customer, that is shared with the company. When a major company milestone is hit, that is shared with the entire company via an executive.
Each month at the company-wide meeting, Entrada recognizes an individual who embraces Entrada’s core values, works hard and consistently goes above and beyond as a seam operator. The recipient is awarded the company mascot, the Golden Donkey. At the next company meeting, the employee shows pictures, videos, etc. of what the Donkey did with them the last month. The Golden Donkey has had many adventures with various Entrada employees. He has been in Culture Club music videos, the star receiver of some game-winning Auburn football games, back to his roots on the farm, and the host of dinner parties, among many other adventures.
And who can work on an empty stomach? Entrada keeps the company kitchen stocked with healthy and rather no-so healthy snack options, including a refrigerator dedicated to sodas and beer.
