EMKAY's corporate culture is linked to our success in the fleet leasing industry. Courtesy is a constant theme in the EMKAY workplace and communication with clients and coworkers alike is done with absolute consideration. Finishing a task is good; but to excel beyond expectations while nurturing a positive work atmosphere that furthers the employee-client relationship is an entirely different feat. Management respects the reality of life outside of work and takes on a mindset that reflects just that. Having balance between one's work life and personal life allows an individual to fully commit themselves to their work, while gaining a sense of accomplishment in doing so. Every voice matters and it is these voices that make EMKAY's corporate culture a place where innovation is encouraged; a place where a single idea can be fostered into a new service or solution; a place where some of the industry's best representatives have gathered to make us the team we call ONE EMKAY. We strive to promote "One EMKAY" through teambuilding events, interdepartmental focus, and healthy competition for awards and recognition. A healthy work-life balance is promoted through numerous events and perks, including the on-site fitness center, full service cafe that features healthy options, Friday Jeans days and additional jeans days when new clients are signed, car washes, oil changes, tire rotations, dry cleaners, free coffee and tea. We celebrate Employee Appreciation Day (and week) in March and the Executive Team plans and hosts summer BBQ's as a way to express appreciation for the hard work EMKAY employees continually exhibit. We also host an annual golf outing and a Holiday party that enables employees to connect in a more social manner. For 2019, employees are provided with tickets to the BMW Championship to be held at Medina Country Club in August. These events help to build a sense of community within the company and result in a better work environment, leading to more honest, productive and valuable employees.
