Emerald People's Utility District

For close to 30 years, EPUD has provided services to a growing community in the Lane County area. EPUD sends power to about 20,000 meters in areas such as Eugene, Springfield, Junction City, Creswell, Cottage Grove, etc. This includes a base of residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers.
EPUD also services about 1700 internet accounts to a customer base within and outside of our electric district. Services include basic dialup to DSL, domain and mail only services for both home and business.
EPUD's Board of Directors consists of 5 elected representatives who help shape utility policy. These elected customer-owners represent each of 5 districts. EPUD’s mission centers on finding ways to improve the lives of customer-owners by delivering reliable utility services. The staff at EPUD strives to keep pace with industry changes, but also implements cost saving techniques. Employees work to provide customer-owners with high quality service at the lowest possible cost.
