Doing Steel
Doing Steel is an AISC certified Steel Fabricator. We also participate in the OSHA SHARP program. Our first location was an old bakery building on College Street in Springfield, MO, starting with seven people and some stubborn determination. Doing Steel outgrew those humble beginnings within the first year, relocating to a 16,000 square foot facility on 5 acres at 2125 North Golden Ave. This was only the beginning for Doing Steel and we have never looked back . Today, our Headquarters sit on approximately 30 acres with enclosed production facilities of nearly 400,000 square feet under roof. Our Joplin Facility adds an additional 110,000 square feet of enclosed production. We have additional Sales offices in Overland Park, KS, and Fort Myers, FL. We have recently added a 12,000 Square foot miscellaneous shop to our Fort Myers location.
Purpose
Our purpose is to safely and efficiently provide quality steel to our customers, in turn building strong and prosperous relationships. Our steel is second to none. We have a finely tuned quality assurance system that is lead by some of the best certified QC inspectors in the industry. We pride our self on our steel being delivered on time and fabricated with precision to our plans. From preconstruction to detailing and design to fabrication to coating, transportation and fright to erection, Doing Steel and our outstanding staff have you covered every step of the way.
