The Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) is striving to make a difference in the lives of people served throughout Wayne County needing behavioral healthcare services. We are expanding crisis services and making integrated health services available to those in need by building behavioral health crisis centers and expanding mobile crisis outreach services to Wayne County communities. It is our commitment to invest in the needed workforce that will help people get access to mental healthcare and substance use services to anyone in need of quality behavioral health programs and supports. The DWIHN Crisis Care Centers will provide much-needed support and relief to the community. Working in partnership with our local law enforcement, hospitals and persons served, DWIHN is establishing a true community collaboration to meet the growing needs of our society.
Purpose
The Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) is a safety net organization that provides a full array of services and supports to adults with mental illness, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, children with serious emotional disturbances and persons with substance use disorders. DWIHN provides empowerment to persons within our behavioral health system, serving nearly 75,000 citizens in Detroit and Wayne County.
