DEPCOM Power
Purpose
As a growing company that is always adding on new talent, our team constantly brainstorms new ways to solidify our founding core values and grow together to build a culture that reflects what’s important to our employees. We live and operate in accordance to our core values by practicing what we preach each and every day. For example, our core value of family is practiced by offering the best in class healthcare insurance, 401k matching and additional company contribution, and flexible work schedule options. And another core value of integrity is practiced by buying 100% American made products as much as possible and advocating for policies with government representatives about the benefit of American made solar. By ingraining our core values into everything we do, we make it possible to grow and strengthen our culture while maintaining a steadfast foundation.

Additional Culture Details
The fast-paced solar industry means that at DEPCOM Power employees work with a lot of moving parts and fast approaching deadlines. Because of this, we want to ensure that our employees enjoy as much flexibility as possible to maintain a work-life balance while still building a tight-knit company culture. With family as one of our core values, we make sure that parents can leave early to pick up kids from school, take vacations, or simply take a few days off to recharge.
Philanthropy is a huge driver of our company culture and reflects our employees’ generosity. DEPCOM GIVES was created as a nonprofit to give back to communities across nationwide with 10% of our net profits going to fund this organization and many employees donate portions of their paycheck. Since the founding of DEPCOM GIVES, we have raised over $7 million with this past December bringing in a total of $250k DEPCOM matched employee donations!
Although COVID-19 has canceled many of our regularly scheduled events, we have found ways to keep our culture strong. Some events include a chili-cookoff, Halloween costume contest, spring training games, happy hours, movie nights, and more. Even our active job sites with smaller teams have regular outings.
We also are big advocates for employee health and wellbeing. Our Wellness Program includes monthly webinars, quarterly wellness competitions, EAP support, and gym membership reimbursement.
