Purpose
Waldo De Castroverde was a Bay of Pigs veteran and Cuban immigrant. He was one of Nevada’s first Spanish-speaking attorneys and dedicated his life to serving the community. Following in his footsteps, his sons, Alex and Orlando established De Castroverde Law Group to ensure everyone has access to justice and serve the community.
De Castroverde Law Group served as a Founding Corporate Work Study Partner of Cristo Rey St. Viator College Preparatory High School, which provides a work study program to students with limited economic means. The firm also presents a bi-annual Teacher Appreciation Award to provide funding to teachers and classrooms.
De Castroverde Law Group’s team members are likewise dedicated to the community. They serve on the Board of Directors/Trustees for the: (1) Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation; (2) Cristo Rey St. Viator College Preparatory High School; (3) Immigration Law Clinic Alumni Council; and (4) Las Vegas Buddhist Sangha. Team members previously served on the Board of Directors for the: (1) Latin Chamber of Commerce of Nevada; (2) Las Vegas Latino Bar Association; (3) Las Vegas Business Academy; and (4) Howard D. McKibben American Inn of Court. De Castroverde Law Group sponsors and/or volunteers with: (1) Andale 5K Run/Walk; (2) Las Vegas Latin Bar Association; (3) Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce; (4) Huellas Mentorship Program; (5) Goodie Two Shoes Foundation; and (6) Three Square Food Bank.
