Mission
The mission of the Cuyahoga Land Bank is to strategically acquire properties, return them to productive use, reduce blight, increase property values, support community goals and improve the quality of life for county residents.

Imagine an environment where staff members join as family around a huge dinner table to share meals. Imagine leadership who asks and implements advice from the team. Imagine individuals who take their jobs away from the desk out of the goodness of their hearts (like mowing the lawns of residents who are unable to!).

While there is no formal cultural creed that exists for the Land Bank, it is driven top down through goodness, warmth, care and authenticity. Everyone is physically and mentally present for the Land Bank's mission and each other. Conversations are handled respectfully and with transparency. Doors are always open and invitations to part of each others' projects are regularly extended.

- We work to advance the community’s broad policy goals within the prescribed perimeters of the State statute that established county land banks in Ohio. These goals include the revitalization of neighborhoods, the promotion of economic growth, and the creation of job and workforce development opportunities.
