CrowdStreet is one of the largest online commercial real estate investing platforms in the U.S. Our goal is to make this asset class available to all and provide the broadest range of institutional-quality commercial real estate investment opportunities directly to individual investors. Our online portal allows individuals to make commercial real estate investments completely online: they can submit their offer, complete paperwork, transfer funds, and choose how they receive distributions–all in one place.
We raised $511 million in 2019 and our Marketplace crossed the $1 billion in total capital raised this past January.
For our sponsor clients, CrowdStreet is the only product on the market that helps sponsors raise funds and acquire new investors via our online Marketplace, speed up the investment transaction process, and help firms manage those new investors and investments, as well as their existing investors and investments–all in a single platform. Our platform simplifies and automates the transaction process with a modern digital experience, creating transparency between a sponsor team and investors. One sponsor had 84 individual investors in their first deal on the Marketplace, and over 400 in their second deal–their management process evolved seamlessly as they more than quadrupled their investor base.
