Cox & Company
Cox & Company, Inc. was started 75 years ago in 1944 and has become a leader in in-flight ice protection for fixed wing (planes) and rotary wing (helicopters). The company also makes temperature control products which prevent parts from freezing and provide passenger comfort at altitude such as air heaters, panel and floor heaters, innerline heaters, heated gaskets and hoses and many more. We have ice protection applications on the Apache helicopter, the Navy P-8A, the HondaJet and the Cessna Longitude to name a few. We also have one of only four icing wind tunnels in the country. Boeing, NASA and Goodrich are the other companies with icing wind tunnels. We design and manufacture our own printed circuit boards and our 40+ engineers design custom applications for our customers.
Mission
World leadership in ice-protection systems, thermal-control systems, specialized heaters and controllers through excellence in technology, engineering and manufacturing. We will provide our customers innovative, cost-effective, reliable and timely solutions in a total quality environment.
