Additional Culture Details
At Cox, we thrive on what makes us different and we empower our employees, clients and communities to come together and celebrate each other’s unique abilities and perspectives. Inclusion is an essential part of our culture at Cox. While we’re always working to improve, we embrace an inclusive culture of fairness and respect, value and belonging, empowerment and growth. We provide our employees the opportunity to chart their own career path and share their unique perspectives, with a focus on recruiting, development, internships, mentorship and opportunities to connect through diversity councils and employee resource groups (ERGs) Our Women’s, Veterans, Black, Hispanic, Asian and LGBTQ ERGs are open to all employees. ERGs hold panel discussions and speaker series that cover topics critical to diversity and inclusion. Our Black ERG recently hosted a retired, black San Diego police officer who shared his perspective and insight on the recent social justice protests. The special discussion gave employees an opportunity to ask questions and be part of an important conversation.
