Community Development Institute
Community Development Institute, a nonprofit corporation provides training and project management services to a variety of education agencies, community organizations and businesses, using a strength-based method of development. A significant portion of CDI's work is managing Head Start programs around the country which have been de-funded by the federal government for reasons of poor quality services, fiscal mismanagement, or relinquishment by a local agency. During CDI's interim management our staff work with local Head Start staff to address deficiencies, bringing immediate fiscal integrity to the program and staff development to the level required to meet the federal Head Start Performance Standards.
