Community College Workforce Alliance
CCWA is the workforce development partnership between John Tyler and J. Sargeant Reynolds Community Colleges. We provide customized training to employers and individuals targeted to improving productivity, quality and profitability for employers and professional development and performance improvement for individuals. CCWA strives to support the workforce development needs of the Greater Richmond region by providing programs that are not provided by the academic programs offered by the colleges. Our priority is to rapidly respond to the needs of employers keeping the region’s incumbent workforce a strong asset for economic strength and viability. While training is our primary focus, we also support employers through consulting services, skills assessment, curriculum development and whatever else the employer needs that is within our capabilities.
