Purpose
Barrio Comprehensive Family Health Care Center, Inc., dba CommuniCare Health Centers (CCHC), was founded in 1972 on the foundation to provide care to the most vulnerable children. This remains our foundation and has extended to providing high-quality care to our entire community. We thrive on our mission “to improve the health of those we serve with a commitment to excellence in all we do.” We strive to ensure that our patients receive the healhtcare they deserve no matter who they are or their ability to pay. We have programs in place that ensure an equitable healthcare experience for our most vulnerable populations, which include a financial discount program and a value-based care program. As we have expanded from a 2-exam room pediatric clinic to now serving patients at 23 clinic sites, our purpose has further grown in strength to ensure we improve the whole health of not only our patients but also of our community. We are driven by the metrics of our patients to ensure the overall health truly improves. We are working to be the premier primary health care system of choice by offering streamlined services of care to make a complex healthcare system easy to maneuver by patients.
