Each year, College Works Painting employs over 2000 college students during their summer break and teaches them the fundamentals of running a business from inception (sales, marketing, and management) to production. Doing this, we help college students gain the work experience and transferable skills required to propel their career in today’s competitive job market.
We provide our interns with the tools and training, the systems and support and the licenses and insurance necessary to manage a successful business during the summer. The requirements are confidence, leadership skills and motivation.
College Works Painting is one of the largest privately held residential house painting companies in the country. The students, working for only six months of the year, work with over 10,000 homeowners across the United States at an average of 97% customer satisfaction rating (unheard of in the industry).
Year after year, we instill values in the college students we work with by teaching them how to run a business with integrity, guiding them with the College Works Painting values -- relationships are everything, one must earn the right to work here, and to work hard and have fun.
