COCC places a significant emphasis on employee communication, including an intranet portal that keeps everyone in-the-know. We’ve also introduced the 15Five platform as a multi-faceted approach to performance management, employee feedback, and giving and receiving recognition.

For several years now COCC’s rising managers and supervisors have participated in a robust Management & Leadership Development (MLD) program, learning about topics including employment law, employee evaluation, building a sense of culture on their teams, and more. We’ve also launched our new Corporate Leadership Development (CLD) program, which combines COCC-designed classes with customized academic training through a special partnership with Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) that culminates in a graduate certificate and credits that can be applied toward an advanced degree.

Post-pandemic we launched a Return to Office program that includes flexible, hybrid schedules along with brand new perks. Our offices enjoy complimentary lunch once or twice a week, as well as "chef-attended" lunch each Wednesday at our headquarters that features customized meals freshly prepared onsite by a local caterer.
