The purpose of the Clay County Tax Collector is to serve as an independent agency responsible for collecting and distributing various taxes and fees on behalf of state and local government agencies to include Property Tax, Driver's Licenses and ID Cards, Vehicle and Vessel Registration, Hunting and Fishing Licenses, Business Tax Receipts, Tourist Development Taxes.
