This year as a City we Celebrate our 125th Anniversary! The City of Waukesha was officially incorporated on February 4, 1896. Special events are planned for the City for every month throughout the year. We are an award winning, growing community located along the shores of the Fox River, 15 miles west of Milwaukee. We have close to 72,000 people and were included in Money Magazine’s 100 Best places to live in 2019.
