As a not for profit organization, CICOA is central Indiana's single point of access to services for older persons and those of any age with a disability in Central Indiana. Professional staff provides community leadership in planning, advocating, and preparing for the needs of our fast growing older population, making our communities more elder-friendly, and speaking to groups on a variety of topics of interest to older adults, people with disabilities and those who care for them.
Purpose
CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions is working for a community where older adults and those of any age with a disability flourish. Started in 1974, CICOA is a not-for-profit agency that helps seniors and people of any age with a disability remain comfortably and safely at home and out of institutional care. We serve Central Indiana, making us the largest Area Agency on Aging in the state. Our services include: care management, meals, transportation, the Aging & Disability Resource Center, caregiver support, and home modifications.
With 56,000 Hoosiers turning 65 every year, the need for aging and in-home services has never been greater. CICOA supports Hoosiers in their goals to remain at home in better health, with better care, at a lower cost.
