Since our humble beginnings in 1913 as a baby camp, we have had a long-standing commitment to our community that includes not only high-quality patient care but also advocacy, education and preventive care with an unwavering focus on our mission.

Additional Culture Details
To maintain and strengthen our award-winning culture of appreciation and recognition, our values-based recognition program promotes leader-led engagement and peer-to-peer recognition. Leaders can arrange for special treats to be delivered to both remote and on-site teams to recognize them in a tangible and experiential way for a specific occasion (i.e., recent achievement, demonstrating resiliency or another notable success). Plus, an accompanying online platform offers Children’s Health team members the ability to send words of affirmation to colleagues, as well as tie their actions to one of our shared organizational values. Through this program, team members celebrating milestone work anniversaries also receive special vouchers for gift redemption. We take pride in the many team members who have built long careers with our organization, a testament to the workplace and culture we strive to create.
