In 2022, Chartway continued our commitment to creating a culture of kindness, empathy, and service to our members, communities, and team members. Our organization went through a rebranding effort to refresh our identity and align with our Purpose & Values. Our new look and feel are reflected in the work environment, which is now a hybrid of in-person and remote work – with hoteling options for team members when they come into the office. To foster a sense of community and connection, we introduced monthly, in-person #BetterTogether Luncheons, where team members from different departments and levels come together to build rapport, collaborate, and learn from each other. The credit union launched Resource Groups to promote a multi-cultural and inclusive environment that encourages team members to bring their whole, authentic selves to work. And importantly, our organization continues to foster conversations around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to ensure all team members feel heard and valued.
Chartway is committed to investing in our team members' professional development and overall well-being. The credit union has continued to grow and we’ve been adding new positions which provides growth opportunities for team members. Encouraging Team Members to seek certifications in financial counseling, and expanding incentives to those who contribute to our achievements through our Success Share and incentive plans.
