Purpose
Since the founding of the Firm, Hank Chamberlain and George Hrdlicka shared a vision of creating a premier law firm specializing in tax matters. They joined forces in Houston and quickly created a law practice of distinction. Veterans of the Tax Division of the United States Department of Justice, their work ethic, knowledge and ability to achieve effective solutions for their clients quickly earned the Firm an excellent reputation.
As the city grew, so did the Firm, adding prestigious name partners and highly-qualified attorneys along with complementary areas of practice. Alongside our cornerstone tax practice, we have built a diversified law firm with practices in bankruptcy, corporate, securities & finance, construction law, employee benefits and executive compensation, energy and maritime law, estate planning and administration, federal white-collar defense, intellectual property, international and immigration law, labor and employment, litigation, privacy and data security, probate and fiduciary litigation, and real estate law.
The Firm’s expansion to Atlanta, Philadelphia, and San Antonio, and joining Meritas Law Firms Worldwide, have added new dimensions to the services we can offer our clients around the corner and around the globe.
