We are committed to improving the lives of people working in the ad tech industry. Shawn wrote our original Manifesto in his car in the early days of Basis, which inspired the principles that guide us every day while we work. These principles, like ‘do the right thing,’ and ‘embrace change,’ are practiced and reflected in everything we do – from hiring to how we serve our customers. At the leadership level, supporting our employees’ wellbeing has always been a priority and as this past year has challenged all of us with unprecedented change, we’re proud of how we’ve stepped up, stayed connected, and supported each other. When the pandemic hit, we immediately closed our office locations for the safety of our employees and communities and pulled together resources and support structures. Everyone at Basis was encouraged to take advantage of our benefits that help us cope with additional stress and anxiety, specifically, our flexible time off policy, virtual coaching sessions, free access to Headspace (a mediation app), and Maven, an online support platform for new parents. Moving forward, we are more committed than ever to creating impact and results – no matter where they are produced. We trust our employees to do their best work, and as such, our employees have the flexibility on whether they’d like to work in an office location, completely remote, or a hybrid of the two.
