CENTRAL ROOFING COMPANY, a nationally certified woman-owned and operated private corporation with over 200 union employees. has established an impressive and prolific portfolio, completing an industry-leading average of $45 to $50 million dollars in commercial projects across Minnesota and the Midwest each year. In our nearly 90 years in business, we have walked thousands and thousands of miles of rooftop. Our work is seen across the skylines of the Twin Cities and within nearly every major city in the state and region. According to the National Roofing Contractors’ Association (2017), one in six commercial roofing projects in the Twin Cities is completed and maintained by Central Roofing Company.
Mission
Central Roofing Company was founded at the beginning of the Great Depression as a one-man shop based in his garage. After over 90 years in business, we have grown and developed far beyond that space to be what we are today: the premier commercial roofing and architectural sheet metal company based in Minnesota, with service to the entire Midwest region and across the country.

Additional Culture Details
We are nationally-certified woman-owned (WBENC), licensed in 17 states including the entire Midwest, and hold Government Services Administration (GSA) licenses in multiple areas. Members of our staff sit on the Administrative Boards for a number of educational institutions, industry leadership councils and non-profits. In 2013, we created a charitable giving program called "Scrappin' for Kids" when donates over $100,000 annually to children's charities in Minnesota using money generated by recycling metal removed from projects or generated in our sheet metal facility. At least half of those funds are allocated to charities chosen by employees. In 2019, we officially established a scholarship fund for employees or their children who are enrolled in a post-secondary education program. Through these measures, we demonstrate our value of inclusion, education, and opening doors to new opportunities.
