The organization encompasses several key agencies, including Guadalupe Community Center, providing immediate help to address food insecurity, reduce poverty, and offer educational programs; Seton Home, offering residential care and support to pregnant and parenting teen mothers; St. PJ’s Children’s Home, dedicated to the wellbeing of children and youth; and San Antonio Birth Doulas, supporting mothers through pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. Together, these agencies work collaboratively to fulfill the mission of Catholic Charities by fostering hope, healing, and empowerment within the San Antonio area.
Purpose
Catholic Charities and it's affiliated agencies serves all people, regardless of race, religion, or national origin, from birth to natural death, through a network of comprehensive programs that include basic needs, family and children services, legal services, refugee resettlement, counseling, pregnant and parenting education, and senior services with the goal of strengthening the vulnerable, nurturing families, and promoting self-sufficiency.
