For four decades, Captive Resources has provided mid-market companies the ability to become insurance company owners rather than insurance buyers and to lower their total cost of risk. We do this through the creation, development, and oversight of member-owned group captive insurance companies. We currently advise 48 group captives comprising 7,300+ member-companies and $5.5+ billion in annual premium, and which have returned $3.9 billion in dividends to their member-owners. We work with casualty and medical stop loss group captives, and one property group captive which is available to members of the casualty captives. In addition, we offer group captive premium financing services, and umbrella support services. We support every aspect of the captives we advise, from claims advocacy to operational oversight, risk management, financial services, regulatory compliance, investment services, and more.
Purpose
Captive Resources, LLC (CRI) helps businesses take control of their commercial insurance, lower their total cost of risk, and develop safer workplaces. We do this by providing expert strategic consulting services to assist these businesses through the process of creating, overseeing, and growing their group captive insurance companies.
