Calvert Hall, a Lasallian Catholic college preparatory school for young men in grades 9-12, has been conducted by the De La Salle Christian Brothers since its founding in 1845 and at its present location in Towson since 1960.
Purpose
Calvert Hall focuses on academic excellence, diversity, community, mutual respect, and brotherhood. Through caring relationships, students are called to live Lasallian values, develop their potential, respect all life and pursue the self-discipline and community action which bring spiritual, personal and academic goals to fruition.

Mission
Calvert Hall College, a Lasallian Catholic college preparatory school, prepares a diverse community of young men to achieve their full potential utilizing their unique talents. Through excellent academic and extracurricular programs led by innovative and dedicated educators, our students become confident men with the ethical foundation for service, independent thinking, and responsible leadership. Inspired by the faith and zeal of St. John Baptist de LaSalle, our students develop a respect for others as part of an inclusive, lifelong Calvert Hall brotherhood as Men of Intellect, Men of Faith and Men of Integrity.

As a Roman Catholic institution, Calvert Hall serves as a steward of faith for each generation. Campus ministry and service opportunities help students develop relationships with God, family, and peers while fostering appreciation for their talents and responsibility to serve others, especially those in need.
