C4 Therapeutics (C4T) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to delivering on the promise of targeted protein degradation (TPD) science to create a new generation of medicines that transforms patients’ lives. Since our founding in 2015, we have fostered a workplace where all employees can bring their unique selves to work. This inclusive culture has helped us push boundaries of scientific discovery to bring this emerging science closer to patients, physicians and caregivers through our wholly owned oncology programs and close collaboration with leading pharmaceutical companies that seek out C4T to achieve their goals to impact patient lives.

Our culture is rooted in our values: Courageous, Committed, Catalysts, Compassionate, Trustworthy. We live our values every day and recognize our colleagues who exhibit the behaviors that make C4T special. A unique way C4T recognizes values is by employees awarding stickers to one another. Each of our values are printed on removable stickers, which are found in bowls throughout our office. When someone sees a coworker exhibit a value, they award their colleague the corresponding value sticker; employees proudly display their value stickers on their laptops, office doors, water bottles, and other prominent places in their office space. When an employee earns all five values stickers, they get to select a new snack that is added as an offering in the free snacks we offer in the office—we also add their photo to the snack wrapper! This has been a fun, light way to encourage employees to demonstrate our values and help everyone recognize behaviors that are important to C4T’s culture. It has also helped us keep our office snack offerings exciting!
