Butcher Power Products (BPP) is a rapidly growing manufacturer of custom electrical switchboards and switchgear supporting mission-critical infrastructure across the United States.
Founded in 2023 by Tom Butcher, who spent nearly three decades selling electrical switchgear, BPP was created in response to a growing challenge in the electrical manufacturing industry: customers needed reliable, high-quality power equipment without the long lead times that had become increasingly common across the market. In some cases, equipment was on backorder for months or years. BPP set out to provide a better solution by combining speed and quality with exceptional customer service, providing a lead time that is 50% faster than its competitors.

Purpose
BPP provides solutions for industries and customers that depend on reliable and uninterrupted power, including hospitals, data centers, renewable energy facilities, commercial and industrial facilities, agricultural operations, and critical infrastructure projects.
Vision
BPP is a proud American manufacturer with agile, in-house manufacturing capabilities, including powder coating. From sales and procurement to fabrication and assembly, every step of the process happens locally in the Sacramento region without outsourcing. The company also offers custom job fabrication services, including advanced CNC laser cutting and in-house powder coating. These capabilities allow BPP to provide precise, high-quality fabrication while maintaining greater control over production, quality and lead times.
