Broadway House for Continuing Care (BHCC) is a 5 star rated, 78 bed, long-term care facility located in Newark, NJ. A non-profit organization, that opened in 1995, BHCC provides quality care with exceptional health outcomes for those living with HIV/AIDS and other complex medical conditions.
Purpose
Since 1995, Broadway House for Continuing Care (BHCC), has provided comprehensive medical care, behavioral care, and service coordination for seriously ill and disabled persons living with HIV/AIDS. BHCC is the State of New Jersey’s only specialized long term sub-acute care facility for this segment of the population and is a safety net for low-income individuals who lack insurance, may be eligible for Medicaid/Medicare, or cannot afford privately insured sub-acute settings.
While best known for its HIV/AIDs programs, BHCC also offers excellent sub-acute care for people recovering from accidents and a variety of illnesses. The key to the success of this 78-bed facility has always been an emphasis on holistic healing: medically, therapeutically, psychologically, educationally, and spiritually.
Located in Newark, NJ, BHCC serves people whose lives are often shaped by homelessness, addiction, abuse, and other deep social issues. The care reaches beyond traditional medicine to support residents as they overcome these obstacles to build a better life.
Thanks to its world-class medical team, comprised of doctors who are recognized experts in their field, and an award-winning nursing staff, BHCC is a 5 Star facility and has been a site of healing and hope for hundreds of people. BHCC’s goal is to provide the tools that empower every resident to live with independence, strength, and dignity.

Monthly birthday celebrations, Employee of the Month, and special "We See You" opportunities keep morale high. Annual holiday bowling party and summer BBQ round out some of the events that recognize the importance of Broadway House staff.
