Brighton Hospice - Denver
Purpose
We believe that the end of life should be just as beautiful as the beginning. Our purpose as an organization is to make this aspiration a reality through personalizing our care and bringing hospitality back to healthcare.
Vision
Our vision is to raise the standard of hospice care here in the Greater Denver Metro, and across our country. Staying true to our mission (and our core values) is how we aim to bring this vision to fruition.
Mission
"Our mission at Brighton Hospice is to provide the best physical, emotional, and spiritual care for our patients and their families. We achieve our mission by hiring the most compassionate and skilled people in the industry who deliver clinical expertise and exceed our patient's expectations. We cultivate an environment where our team members are valued, respected, and provided personal and professional growth opportunities. Our leaders focus on supporting the clinical team so they can concentrate on patient care. We are always guided by your commitment to excellence."
In addition to this being our mission, it is also our roadmap for success. We review it daily (e.g. during team meetings, candidate interviews, etc.) and constantly seek feedback from our team members regarding whether or not they feel we're living it. This has helped us to both forge, and MAINTAIN, a mission-driven culture centered around excellence.

Additional Culture Details
It's often said that "top performers" want to surround themselves with other TOP performers. The second line of our mission teaches HOW we achieve our mission to provide the BEST care; namely that we HIRE the best talent. Doing our best to stay true to this principle has served us well. Our team knows that we won't recruit candidates just to fill a position. After all, in the world of hospice, it's not just who we send to provide care to our patients and their families that matters. Sometimes, it's more who we DON'T send. Our team understands this and has made it their mission to seek out individuals that will contribute to our quest for excellence and our good reputation. The culture of any organization is directly tied to the people within it.
Values
- Excellence
- As an organization, Brighton's goal has always been to raise the standard for hospice care wherever we operate. Since coming to Denver (June 1, 2020), we have done just that. Evidence of this can be found in our customer survey scores (i.e. CAHPS surveys) which are significantly higher than state and national averages; something our team takes a lot of pride in.
