Since Miller Gorrie founded Brasfield & Gorrie in 1964, we’ve grown from a local contractor to a national construction company with 13 offices in eight states. Brasfield & Gorrie’s culture sets us apart. It’s a culture that values people and stresses solid core values. Beginning with Mr. Gorrie in 1964, our culture has consistently focused on building exceptional people, trusting relationships, great projects, and strong communities. Our growth over the decades has been organic, never through acquisition of other companies, and with a fervent effort to protect and maintain the values of our founders. Thanks to this culture, many employees have spent their entire careers with Brasfield & Gorrie. In fact, as of 2024, we've recognized 1,769 employees for reaching milestone anniversaries with us. To boost employee engagement, our Atlanta office offers a variety of open, collaborative spaces for employees to work in when they’d like a change from working at their desks. When work isn’t the priority, our recreation room—which we call “the Bunker”—offers a comfortable, spacious, and inviting environment for employees to relax, share meals, connect, and recharge in. Our care for our employees’ welfare also includes a commitment to supporting their physical fitness. Our office boasts a large gym that is open to both employees and their family members, and in addition to offering daily workout classes, we provide a complimentary on-site massage therapist and chiropractor. We also enjoy the taking our work family out to the ballgame, with company outings to Truist Park to root for our favorite team, the Atlanta Braves.
