Boston Health Care For The Homeless Program
For 25 years, Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP) has maintained a simple, compelling mission: to provide or assure access to the highest quality health care for all homeless men, women and children in the Greater Boston area.
BHCHP has grown to serve 11,000 patients at over 80 sites throughout Greater Boston annually. The innovative methods developed and used by BHCHP have received attention from other cities that want to replicate the strategies utilized by the organization. The program deploys 285 staff members across the city throughout a network of hospitals, shelters, clinics, and affiliated sites.
The growth and success of the organization would not have been possible had it not been for the BHCHP’s leadership and their insistence on attracting and retaining the best, brightest, and most committed staff members that are deeply committed to the organization’s mission.
