Did Michael Jordan say that if he hadn’t gone into basketball, he would have come to Chicago anyway and worked for Big Red Rooster Flow? Probably. We can’t find the exact quote, but we’re pretty sure it was something like that. And why, you ask, would he (allegedly) say that? Some might say it’s because of the rewarding work. Being able to point out to family and friends the different gas stations, restaurants, and drug chain sites we rebrand all over the country IS pretty cool. Others might say it’s all the creative challenges that keep our minds agile or our passion for DEI or our Torch Award! Well, they’d all be somewhat right. It’s our culture that #23 really loves (most likely). However, our comprehensive benefits package is competitive all on its own. And for the last few years, working remotely has been the fan fave. Though MJ missed the Big Red Rooster Flow draft, our Roosters sure didn’t. And hey, Energage chose us as Chicago's #23 Top Workplace. Coincidence? We think not.

Big Red Rooster Flow fosters a vibrant culture where employees thrive. We encourage open communication, welcoming thoughts and suggestions through an open-door (or virtual) policy. Our HR team hosts the now-famous Rooster Boost program. It is essentially both a mental and in-the-know "Check-In" system that allows all employees to feel seen and heard by our HRoctors.This check-up is spent with the People Executive and HR Team. Our world-renowned Culture Committee (shared as best in class on Limeade Listening webinars) collaborates to address current and future matters, promoting inclusivity and interaction. They serve as observers, identifying concerns and communicating progress to employees. Fun is infused throughout the year with virtual hangouts, polls, newsletters, and fostering connections. Weekly Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Rooster Posts (our more than a decade-old publication) provide a platform for employees to share stories, celebrate differences, and ultimately know that they belong and are a part of something meaningful and fulfilling. Our monthly Roosters of the Roundtable is a popular program that all employees participate in via random break-out rooms to create solutions to company challenges or to provide feedback in general on things happening in the company.
