Beyond Blindness
Beyond Blindness is a nonprofit with the mission to empower children with visual impairments and other disabilities to achieve their fullest potential. We are the only nonprofit in greater Orange County that provides all the support and services that individuals from birth to 22 years of age with visual impairments and other disabilities need. Areas of service include Early Intervention, Education and Enrichment, and Family Support, which all aim to help children, no matter their abilities, live full and rewarding lives. The Beyond Blindness team embraces a people-first approach and values family, connection, impact, inclusion, stewardship, and optimism. We have been in the community since 1962. Purpose
Beyond Blindness has set an ambitious 5 year strategic plan to increase our impact by serving 2,680 individuals by 2027. We offer a comprehensive Journey of Care that offers classes, services and therapies in Early Intervention, Education and Enrichment, and Family Support. And we believe in supporting the entire family, including parents, grandparents, siblings and caretakers through welcoming events and educational opportunities. We believe that when families thrive, children thrive!
