Better Housing Coalition
The Better Housing Coalition is a 501(c)(3) community development corporation headquartered in Richmond, VA. Our mission is to change lives and transform communities through high-quality, affordable housing. We own and operate 15 apartment communities (8 for seniors) and provide an array of resident support services to help residents of all ages achieve their fullest potential. Through thoughtful real estate development, we reduce blight and crime and revitalize communities by developing multi-family communities and single-family homes, which we sell to first-time homebuyers.
Purpose
Quality housing at an affordable price is a springboard for success in educational, employment and health pursuits.
