Baseline Engineering Corporation is a specialized consulting firm with licensed professional engineers, professional land surveyors, geologists, and certified community planners serving the State of Colorado. Founded in 1998, we have grown to one of the leading engineering, surveying, and planning firms in the Rocky Mountain Region.
Our clients range from municipalities and private developers to large public entities. We serve them from four Colorado locations: Golden, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and Steamboat Springs.
We are humbled by our great success through 25+ years in business, which is due to our incredible employees and the culture that they foster. They have never wavered from our founding principles; responsiveness, diligence to the task at hand, flexible, attentive to budget limits, and living up to our commitments. Baseline's purpose is to be an incredible company built by and for our employee owners.
Vision
Over the years, Baseline has become a leader in the region and has diversified into various sectors. We have that small company feel, but big experience.
In 2015, we formed an ESOP and were able to call ourselves an employee-owned company. Furthermore, we are an “Evergreen Company” and our clients and employees can rest assured that we will not be gobbled up by a big conglomerate sending us back into that sea of companies that only care about the bottom dollar and treat their employees as just a number. As Baseline employee-owners, we are proud of the incredible feedback we receive from clients and employees. The guiding principles we have established allow our division managers to provide incredible guidance and motivate our employees. Everyone at Baseline has a stake in the outcome, and every employee has the opportunity to shape our company. Our vision and values allow us to focus on perfecting our service for our clients. Society is advancing at a staggering pace, but we, at Baseline, are on top of the technology to keep up.

Additional Culture Details
Baseline's culture is committed to sustainability and supporting values that embrace social, environmental, and economic sustainable practices into our workplace as we provide infrastructure for new structures that build communities and design the roadways to get there.
Environmental - Baseline is committed to our environment and incorporates this philosophy into our every day lives. We routinely recycle paper products and printer toner. In addition, we keep our office spaces small and offer a flexible work policy. Twice a year, our offices participate in CDOT's Adopt-a-Highway cleanup program for two-mile stretches of highway.
Economic - Employees have the choice to work from home or from one of our four offices. Half of our staff elected to work from home. This option has kept our employees happy and productive, while also keeping our office space within smaller footprints. While Baseline is a small, local company, we contribute what we can and are always seeking ways to improve our outreach as it applies to people, planet, and prosperity and offer:
• Annual CSU Scholarship for Engineering Students
• Services Donated to Loveland Youth Gardeners and the Eagle Bike Park
• Social - Baseline For Community (B4C)— Our outreach committee strives to make a difference to the communities where we live, work, and play. From our annual food drive to our angel tree program to our various sponsorships and service efforts, Baseline is committed to help our neighbors.
