AWeber’s world headquarters exemplifies AWeber’s 5 Core Values in an architectural design. Two 14-feet-high slides descend from the second floor into the atrium, which also has a biowall featuring over 2,000 plants and a two-story rain curtain.
AWeber’s headquarters is the epitome of flexibility. Large windows provide abundant daylight and views to 100% of workstations. Spread throughout the open work areas is playful furniture, over 3,500-square-feet of writable wall surface, and informal gathering spaces to promote interactions that nurture teamwork and innovation.
The ultimate design goal was to facilitate AWeber’s fifth core value, “Don’t Take Ourselves Too Seriously; Have Fun”, while also providing an environment where talented team members can work hard and achieve outstanding results. Game areas were integrated into the office for team building and relaxation, including two movie theaters, four video game stations, a pool table, table tennis, foosball and vintage arcade games.
To increase socialization among the team members, an on-site, full-service commercial kitchen provides a complimentary meal each day. The customized menu changes on a daily basis and features organic, sustainably and locally-sourced ingredients.
