1517 Media has five publishing units:
AUGSBURG FORTRESS, which publishes resources for the ELCA and mainline churches that enliven worship and music, faith formation, and congregational life.
FORTRESS PRESS, which publishes books that advance scholarship, learning, and the practice of ministry.
SPARKHOUSE, which develops resources that engage and inspire children, youth, and adults in Christian communities.
BEAMING BOOKS, which publishes high-quality children’s books that help kids thrive emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
BROADLEAF BOOKS, which publishes books for general readers that nourish souls, ignite minds, and promote the common good.
