Association for Mental Health and Wellness mission is “Empowering people and communities to pursue and sustain healthy and enriched lives.” It is our mission to provide evidence-based practices, information, education, and resources to the residents of Suffolk County.We believe mental health is as important as physical health, and it is our goal to ensure that all of our local voices are heard and recognized by government leaders, the business community, advocacy groups, and educational organizations in our region. We aim to share and strengthen resources that are grounded in evidence-based research and that serve people of all cultures and ethnicities in our county.
At MHAW we value each and every individual we serve and strive to offer the best possible service, always keeping the individual and family at the forefront. We value the uniqueness and diversity of our staff and encourage and support them to bring their true self to work everyday. While we have different programs throughout the organization that provide services we are one team striving to help those in Suffolk County. We are a family that is relies upon one another's strengths to ensure the provision of services to those in need.
