Artman Lutheran Home
We are Leaders in Compassionate Care! Artman Lutheran Home was founded in 1916 by Major Enos Artman, civil war veteran & carpet merchant, whose vision was to provide care for older adults. For 95 years, Artman has continued its mission of care and today is home to 123 Personal Care residents & 61 Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation patients who live in a warm and gracious residential setting. Throughout its history, Artman has provided care for those residents whose assets have been depleted. Artman also houses the Becoming Center, a health & wellness center, staffed by degreed exercise physiologists and featuring a heated therapeutic pool, yoga center & treatment areas for massage therapy, acupuncture & nutrition counseling. The Center offers wellness services & programs for the residents and 900 active adult members from surrounding communities. Intergenerational programing enhances the lives of the residents with activities & visits from the on-site KenCrest Day Care, which provides care for 80 children between 3 months & 6 years. Activity therapists facilitate a variety of daily events. Artman is a busy & fun place for everyone!
