We Are Blood, United Tissue Resources, Travis County Medical Society collectively encompass 7 locations and just over 200 employees in and surrounding Austin and San Antonio communities. Small in size, the organizations have a large impact on the people they serve. We Are Blood is a 501(c)(3) organization, provider and protector of the Central Texas blood supply serving over 40 hospitals and medical facilities in a 10 county area. United Tissue Resources, also a 501(c)(3) organization, maintains centrally located allograft inventory for area hospitals and surgery centers serving patient needs. Approximately 4,000 tissue grafts are distributed to area hospitals annually for life-saving surgeries. Travis County Medical Society, a 501(c)(6) organization, is an active community of over 4,000 Austin-area physicians who care about the medical profession in their community and state. Although the company’s services differ, they all share in a common goal of supporting their community.
