Applied BioMath
Applied BioMath is a model-informed drug discovery and development (MID3) services, software, and research and development (R&D) company. Founded in 2013, we have completed over 300 projects with over 145 partner companies across all modalities, indications, and pipeline stages. To date, we have received $6.8 million in NIH and FDA grant funding to support R&D efforts in areas such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia, Antibody Drug Conjugates, Immunocytokines, and Biotherapeutics. The Applied BioMath team leverages their decades of expertise to help groups better understand their therapeutic, its best-in-class parameters, competitive advantages, patients, and the best path forward into and in the clinic to increase likelihood of clinical concept and proof of mechanism, and decrease late stage attrition rates.
Purpose
Drug and therapeutic development is time consuming, expensive, and has a low probability of success. Applied BioMath de-risks projects, accelerates the development of best-in-class therapeutics, and reduces late stage attrition rates. This results in helping industry save money, accelerate timelines, and make better therapeutics; ultimately improving patients’ lives.

Mission
Our mission is to develop the engineering, science, and software that revolutionizes drug invention. We partner with industry leaders and regulators to rapidly evaluate therapeutic concepts and increase clinical success. This will result in medicines that are safer, more effective, less expensive, and get to market faster.
Additional Culture Details
Since our inception in 2013, Applied BioMath has grown from three founders to over 50 employees. Applied BioMath brings together the best team members in our field and provides a flexible work environment to support exploration, pushing the envelope, and taking risks. While we have different specializations, at our core remains a drive for scientific excellence and curiosity. Applied BioMath is committed to women’s leadership and diversity. Out of nine executive leadership team members, five are female. Our hybrid workforce is comprised of local residents based out of our Concord, MA office, as well as remote team members from 16 states across the US and Canada. To maintain a strong connection to our culture and core values, we host virtual team meetings, socials, and coffee breaks and connect at in-person team events whenever possible. We are innovators, we love to learn, and we take pride in working together to bring systems modeling to drug development.
