Any Baby Can (ABC) improves the lives of children by strengthening them and their families through education, therapy, and family support services. ABC is an important resource for children at risk for abuse and neglect, developmental delay, and those with special healthcare needs. Each year, we serve more than 6,000 of the youngest, sickest and poorest children and their families in the Central Texas area with a continuum of evidence-based best practices, including both prevention and intervention strategies, overlaid with advocacy and support. Most services are provided in the home, a proven effective method for sustained positive changes. We also offer community-based prenatal and parenting education, family literacy, and post partum support groups. We begin providing services prenatally whenever possible, understanding that early intervention is the most effective strategy for the creation of a solid foundation for optimal physical, emotional, and cognitive child development....
