Angela Hospice’s mission is to provide the utmost in comprehensive, compassionate, and Christlike care to incurably ill adults and children in Southeast Michigan. Our programs include inpatient and home hospice care; pediatric and prenatal hospice; grief support services; and educational outreach.
Hospice focuses on treating the whole person, rather than just the disease, and considers the family an important part of the unit of care. Services are provided by an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, hospice aides, social workers, therapists, spiritual care staff, trained volunteers, as well as the primary caregiver and family members. This team uses a coordinated approach to care for the patient, while providing supportive services to family and loved ones.
Staff works to keep the patient alert and pain-free so they may live their final days in peace and comfort, surrounded by people who care about them. Support is always available, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.
